After knowing James for several years, I knew this we going to be a great wedding. Kaitlyn and James really let their personalities shine with their custom music selections, from the ceremony all the way to the Grand Finale.

Wedding Reception Outline
As the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, a custom mix of reggae tracks provided the soundtrack. The mix was curated by the couple on Spotify and complied by me to best fit the vibe and build energy towards the Grand Entrance.
Reggae was one of the more prominent genres of the day, as Kaitlyn and James selected songs by The Elovaters for both their Grand Entrance and first dance.
Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life” served as the Grand Finale as the guests celebrated one last time with the bride and groom on their wedding day.
Final Thoughts
I truly believe there is no such thing as “background music.” I prefer to think of every song selection as part of a bigger soundtrack and encourage all my couples to have this view as well. Kaitlyn and James totally embraced this philosophy with their song choices. They were a pleasure to work with, as they trusted me to mix in their selections with party favorites that kept the dancefloor energized.
